Every year the library loves celebrating the Chinese New Year.
This year we have colour-in bookmarks of Chinese Zodiac characters for our members to take home with them.

Her illustrations for the Beauty and the Beast story are perhaps her finest work so far and a perfect way for the library to celebrate Valentine's Day. (contains images)
Angela Barrett, February 2010, Illustrations, Valentine Wednesday, February 3, 2010 We had a wonderful response to this project from children, parents and schools and we ended up with a grand total of 551 cards - which exceeded our expectations. Get Well cards have been sent to Selly Oak Hospital and Headley Court Rehabilitation Centre and all the rest have been sent to the Duke of Lancaster's Battalion stationed in Afghanistan.
