March Mad Hatter Madness

For all of March the library will be full of Mad Hatters and Mad Hares. We are celebrating the work of author Lewis Carroll who created Alice In Wonderland and the release of Tim Burton's new Alice movie

Throughout the month we'll be encouraging our members to decorate Mad Hats, create Mad Hare Bad Hair (styles), to take part in our Mad Hatter's Tea Party on Saturday 13th, make Mad Hatter's Mother's Day cards, snigger at Mad Hatter Tee Hee Teasers, find all the answers to the Alice In Wonderland treasure and boggle your mind with an Alice word search too. Please come along and join in the fun

Beauty and the Beast - Valentine's Day

Angela Barrett is one of the finest illustrators in the UK, if not the world. Her illustrations for the Beauty and the Beast story are perhaps her finest work so far and a perfect way for the library to celebrate Valentine's Day. (contains images)
