Author Visit - Kenneth Steven

We're very lucky to have author Kenneth Steven visit the library on Saturday 16th October for a reading session.

Kenneth has published many brilliant children's picture books and fiction for older readers as well wonderful poetry. If you're interested in coming along to hear Kenneth speak you might want to read some of his work first, we have his books at the library for you to loan.

Kenneth has a great website were you can get more of a flavour of what he does - you can see it here

We think the session will start around about 11.15, but check back here for confirmation or ring the library on 673123

We look forword to seeing you

Red Heart Parcels

We sent out 29 parcels from the Family Library over the past couple of months and I know the IOM Post has sent a similar amount too, so thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

The final parcels will be sent out to Corp. Quaggin at the end of this month.

End of the Summer

Our Reading Scheme is coming to an end - boohoo! We've had a lot of fun and hope you have too. Click on the Reading Scheme section to see more images and updates in the next few days.

We have a lot of fun events planned for this Autumn, a couple starting in October, and all our regular weekly activities are starting again soon - Busy Bees, Tiny Tunes, Sing and Sign and Animation Classes.

Our Stickyfinger craft sessions have carried on throughout the summer and we're hoping give a lot more crafters things to do this Autumn and Winter.

Don't forget that about our very popular Storybox drop-in sessions on Friday mornings!

For full details go to the Weekly Events section on our website
